SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with engineering industry.. The device for electrolytic coating of a surface of an item contains a support, a mounted on it spindle with a drive of rotation and a rod with a drive, a transitional unit for connection of the spindle with an item. On the rod there is an arm with a spring-loaded clamp. The transitional unit is made in the form of an additional rod with a plate type cradle to fix the item perpendicularly to the axis of the spindle. The arm rigidly fixed on the rod and is made in the form of forks symmetrical with regard to the axis of the rod and is supplied with the spring-loaded clamps. The clamps are fixed on the forks with a capability to move with regard to the forks. The invention allows to expand the technological capabilities and to improve quality of the coating on a surface of an item.
