SUBSTANCE: method of electrolytic deposition of coatings on flat articles confined by cylindrical surfaces includes continuous precipitation of material from solution with process current passed through anode and its plastic deformation by pressing-down devices in reciprocation with amplitude a across article. In this case, anode is located parallel to article which is continuously rotated round axis perpendicular to anode, and selected for, at least, one of pressing-down devices is amplitude of reciprocation under conditions of a > b, where a is amplitude of pressing-down device reciprocation, mm; b is article width, mm.
