FIELD: burner units.
SUBSTANCE: directional-heating burner unit used, for instance, for gas-control cabinet, has gas supply line, nozzle coupled with injection chamber that incorporates radial ducts at inlet for atmospheric air admission and is connected to heat-shielding housing accommodating radiating burner and outlet duct for discharging gas combustion products into the atmosphere. Burner unit is installed in cabinet and has, in addition, thermoelectromagnetic valve coupled with shut-off device, starting device, guard net, thermocouple connected to thermoelectromagnetic valve, heat conductor, and prechamber; thermoelectromagnetic valve and starting device are mounted in housing through whose inlet shut-off device communicates with one of gas supply line parts, and through its outlet starting device communicates with remaining part of this line; mounted at outlet of the latter upstream of nozzle is guard net; thermocouple, heat conductor, and prechamber are disposed between radiating burner and duct for discharging gas combustion products. Shut-off device is made in the form of spring-loaded rod mounting flap on one end that forms flat valve together with seat installed in housing and armature of thermoelectromagnetic valve, on its other end. Starting device is made in the form of spring-loaded rod one of whose ends is disposed inside shut-off device seat in a spaced relation and forms guaranteed clearance with its flap, other end of this rod being disposed outside the housing. Thermocouple is placed between radiating burner and heat conductor made of heat-conducting material (aluminum alloy). Hole made in heat-shielding housing between radiating burner and heat conductor communicates with prechamber. Heat conductor is made in the form of plate one of whose ends is disposed inside heat-shielding housing and its other end is disposed outside the housing and connected to housing of one of gas-control device assemblies mounted within cabinet. Heat conductor end disposed outside heat-shielding housing is built of two parts. Heat receiver end facing the radiating burner is ribbed. Heat-shielding housing is double-wall structure with heat-shielding material of definite thickness placed between walls.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability and economic efficiency in using energy of gas burned for heating purposes.
