FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method includes measuring the level of dielectric liquid with a submerged capacity level meter made of a set of capacitors arranged vertically one above the other and numbered from bottom to the top. The space between the electrodes is free for supplying the dielectric liquid. The capacities of the capacitors are measured subsequently from the bottom capacitor. The seek number of the first capacitor whose space between the electrode is filled with the dielectric liquid is determined. The total capacity of the capacitor is measured. The level of the dielectric liquid is then determined from the formula proposed.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurements.
