FIELD: medicine, hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: the suggested shield to be applied in perineal part of user's panties has, at least, one preferable area for bending coming inclined to longitudinal axis. Preferable area for bending could be created due to mechanical embossing the surface of hygienic product to thicken shield's absorbing materials in certain places. Preferable area for bending develops resistance of hygienic shield to cross-sectional squeezing forces applied by user's thighs and, thus, prevents product's creasing. Moreover, preferable area for bending improves liquid's distribution due to removing the liquid along canals from touch point. The present innovation enables to achieve higher efficiency of hygienic shield in collecting body liquids being very comfortable, especially when such shields are designed to be thin.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
