FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device is thin padding of high absorbing capacity that is thinner as 4 mm. Its flexural resistance ensures controlled deformation to take place when the inlay is in use. It assumes W-shaped pattern (advantageous for manifesting absorbing properties) or M-shaped one (contributing to being highly comfortable in use). Said controlled deformation feature gives good comfort conditions and concurrently reduces probability of making folds under the action of compressing lateral forces applied the inlay by user thighs. The device has flexural resistance not less than 400 g. The padding has covering layer, barrier layer and absorbing structure having at least one preferential bending zone that allows the padding to assume specific three-dimensional deformation pattern in response to lateral contraction.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in purifying biological fluid without additional reagents being applied.
