FIELD: medicine, vaccines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparing vaccine used for prophylaxis of chlamydiosis in human. Vaccine is prepared from whole-cellular antigens of Chlamydium trachomatis (strain "L-2") and Chlamydium psitacci (strain "Lori"). Chlamidium strains are cultured in yolk sacs of developing chicken embryos. The Chlamidium ovoculture suspension is inactivated with neutral formalin, purified by differential centrifugation and with diethyl ether treatment, equilibrated by specific activity and sorbed on aluminum hydroxide followed by addition of merthiolate as a preserving agent. Invention provides preparing vaccine for prophylaxis of Chlamydium infection in human that elicits the enhanced protective activity in subcutaneous and intramuscular administration.
EFFECT: improved preparing method, valuable properties of vaccine.
