METHOD FOR TREATING CHRONIC DIFFUSE HEPATIC DISEASES Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, hepatology.

SUBSTANCE: one should isolate groups depending upon process severity followed by intravenous laser irradiation of blood with continuous radiation at 0.63 mcm wave length. In case of moderate process activity and patient's satisfactory state patient's peripheral blood should undergo laser irradiation for 5 d running for 30 min at total dosage being 9 J. In case of pronounced activity of pathological process and moderate severity of patient's state - daily for 7 d running for 30 min at total dosage being 12.6 J. In case of considerably pronounced process activity and patient's severe state - daily for 10 d running for 40 min at total dosage being 24 J. Repeated course of intravenous laser irradiation of blood should be carried out in 3 mo. The suggested method is characterized by no side reactions, possibility to be applied in patients at different degree of process severity and enables to achieve prolonged pronounced laboratory and clinical effect.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
