FIELD: transport engineering; folding tricycles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to folding tricycle on which rider occupies reclining position. Folding frame consists of three parts connected by joints 4, 5. Transverse beam 53 is connected with frame rear part 3 and, when folding, it can turn in horizontal plane relative to bottom bracket 39. Driving sprocket is located before front driving wheel 9, and handlebar turns two rear wheels on transverse beam 53 by longitudinal steering rod 29. Length of front part 1 of frame is equal to 0.9-1.1 of diameter of driving wheel, length of middle part 2 of frame is equal to 1.25-(1,5-2a) of diameter of driving wheel, length of rear part 3 of frame is equal 0.5-(0.75-2a) of diameter of driving wheel and length of transverse beam 53 with wheels is equal to 1.5 (0.9 - 1.1) of diameter of driving wheel where a is width of rear wheels.
EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions of tricycle in fold state.
