FIELD: metallurgy; device for application of metal coats on surfaces of metal articles.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes metal brush with rotation drive and bar made form material of coat and pressed to brush at angle of 5-10 deg. to tangent at point of contact. Bar is mounted by suspension rigidly connected with two plane-parallel plates and is connected with pusher which is linked with motor-reduction gear. Plates of suspension are provided with force-measuring sensors connected with bar feed control unit which includes analog-to-digital converter, digital setter for setting the level of signal showing degree of deformation of plane-parallel plates; control unit is also provided with digital comparator and stepping electric motor drive. Thus, feed of bar is regulated depending on its wear by measurement of radial component of friction force arising at point of contact of brush and bar. As a result, continuous coat of smooth thickness is obtained.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
