FIELD: building, particularly metal bridge span structures comprising orthotrophic traffic-way panel separated into several parts.
SUBSTANCE: metal bridge span structure includes main axle beams and orthotrophic traffic-way panel formed as covering sheet with ribs and beams. Orthotrophic traffic-way panel is located above main axle beams and connected with them by continuous tie members. Orthotrophic traffic-way panel is formed of blocks divided in transversal direction and of longitudinal beams having, for instance, T-shaped cross-sections. Each block is provided with covering sheet having transversal continuous strip-shaped ribs extending along the full width of orthotrophic traffic-way panel. Beams are directed along bridge axis. Two longitudinal beams are continuous tie members and connected by lower parts thereof with upper layer of main beam. Covering sheet and longitudinal beams are provided with flanges from orthotrophic traffic-way panel end of each block. Flanges are located below covering sheet level and connect adjacent blocks of orthotrophic traffic-way panels.
EFFECT: reduced labor inputs due to reduced number of erection joint.
