FIELD: water intake structures, particularly for Siberian and Northern regions.
SUBSTANCE: structure includes filtering rock-fill embankment and water-receiving device with perforated water intake tubular collectors. Rock-fill embankment is formed at once along the full length thereof by arranging end fill of ungraded rock material and includes two layers, namely low, water intake, one formed of coarse fractions and upper, low-permeable one made of fine fractions. Water-intake tubular collectors are obliquely placed in rock-fill embankment so that collectors are perpendicular to embankment edge. Water-intake tubular collectors include submerged pumps. End perforated parts of collectors are deepened in low water-inflow layer covered with protective layer of gravel-and-sand or geosynthetic material to prevent clogging thereof. Anti-wave coatings, namely reinforced concrete panels, may be connected to side slopes of filtering rock-fill embankment within the wave surge area borders. Reinforced concrete caponier may be located on embankment edge for drain tubular collectors protection.
EFFECT: reduced cost and material consumption, simplification of water-intake structure building.
