FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method of machining of non-round holes to give them the form of a cutter center path of "Reuleaux triangle" and it is dealt with mechanical engineering, in particular with machining of components by versatile machine tools of the drilling group. The method is conducted at a ratio of the non-round hole cross-section effective diameter "D" to the non-round hole eccentricity "е" > 17. For spreading of technological capabilities and reduction of a loading from the cutting forces on the guiding bushes in the machining process during the first run a circular hole is made and at the next run used for machining of the non-round hole with three axes of symmetry they use a floating tool with a lead angle in the plan 90 ° and with the cross-section of the calibrating part corresponding to a cross-section of the internal enveloping curve of a finished component, moving along the guiding bush, the form and the size of the hole of which correspond to the form and the size of the machining hole. At that during the first run the round hole diameter "d" is chosen according to the given formula. During the second pass an instantaneous axis of the tool turning is shifted onto the edge of the preprocessed hole to ensure minimization of the moments of action on the tool by the tangential forces of cutting. At that and the axis of the tool turning is instantaneously shifted by the indicated value in each 60°of the tool turning at reaching the given cutting depths on the opposite cutting edges of the tool.
EFFECT: the invention allows to spread the technological capabilities and to reduce the loading from the cutting forces on the guiding bushes.
