FIELD: glass-enamel protective covering composition for low-carbon and medium-carbon steel.
SUBSTANCE: claimed composition contains (mass %): SiO2 45.0-49.0; Al2O3 1.5-4.5; CoO 0.5-0.9; CaO 6.0-9.5; ZnO 2.0-4.0; MgO 3.0-6.0; Fe2O3 0.1-0.9; B2O3 10.6-14.0. Composition is useful for metallurgic and oil industry, in particular for pipe lines maintaining in active media, as well as for water-supply systems. Glass of present invention affords the ability to sufficiently increase durability of steel pipes in aggressive media, and as a result to reduce metal consumption, decrease equipment downtime, safe purity of transported products, etc.
EFFECT: glass-enamel of simplified composition without quality deterioration.
