FIELD: solar energy concentrators; inflatable film-type reflectors for medicine and domestic purposes.
SUBSTANCE: proposed solar reflector has transparent and metallized layers of polymer film which are hermetically fastened (welded) over) two circles; outer chamber thus obtained in used for retaining shape of circle when it is filled with air through pipe union; inner circle has shape of lens when it is filled with air through other pipe union and its metallized surface is used as concave mirror. Focal distance may be changed due to different degree of filling of inner chamber. Device is provided with three projections with holes for securing the reflector and swinging it when it is used for medical purpose.
EFFECT: simplified construction; reduced losses of energy; wide range of application in medicine (therapy by concentrated sun light).
