FIELD: medicine, applicable for suction of liquids from organ cavities.

SUBSTANCE: for protection of the vessel-collector from overfilling use is made of an overfilling transducer, having two electrodes installed under the cover of the vessel-collector, electric connector, pulse generator, transformer with two windings, the first and second peak detectors, the first and second threshold devices, OR Gate and a diode. The pulse generator is connected to the first transformer winding, as a result of which voltage pulses are induced in the second transformer winding, which is connected to the electrodes of the overfilling transducer via the electric connector. As soon as the liquid in the vessel-collector attains the level of the electrodes, the pulse amplitude drops. As a result, the voltage at the output of the first peak detector, whose input is connected to the first winding of the transformer, drops. This results in formation of a signal at the output of the first threshold device, which through the OR Gate interlocks the operation of the control device of the vacuum pump electric motor. The suction unit stops its operation.

EFFECT: provided cleansing are reliable prevention of vessel-overfilling.
