FIELD: textile industry; knitted and clothing production.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with textile industry, in particular, with knitted and clothing production and may be used at cutting and sewing of highly-stretchable linens. The a method of joining of details made out of the highly-stretchable linens provides, that before operation of cutting a linen is previously stretched up to the specified value, then rectilinear sections of a contour of patterns of details of an item are pressed press between two layers of a hard contact band in such a manner, that the line of baste is spaced from the internal side of a carcass band by a magnitude of an allowance of a connective seam, fix the mutual positions of the details by the transporting mechanism of a sewing machine, shear off the contact band along its internal side and baste off details with the help of the sewing machine. The technical result consists in the fact, that at the joining the details made out of highly-stretchable linen the invention ensures a uniform extension of a linen along a connective seam of any length up to the required operational sizes at preservation of physical-mechanical properties of the linen in the field of the seam. Practical realization of the invention was performed at production of fragments of a prototype of a reflecting surface of the collapsible parabolic antenna with its natural size equal to 14 x 12 meters.

EFFECT: the invention ensures a uniform extension of a highly-stretchable linen along a connective seam of any length up to the required operational sizes at preservation of physical-mechanical properties of the linen in the field of the seam.
