FIELD: sewing industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves using two edging piping; folding first and second edging pipings with face sides oriented inward and aligning cuts; stitching cuts along marked line; ironing edges of first and second edging pipings with their reverse sides oriented inward and with edges not extending beyond piping stitching line; ironing piping stitching seam and simultaneously ironing inward preliminarily ironed edges of first and second pipings; providing successive stitching of edging pipings along ironed edges onto first and second parts to be joined, with parts being preliminarily inserted with face side up between ironed edges of first and second pipings, respectively; ironing two part joining seam. Method allows visible stitch margin defect, which normally exists when parts of thin and transparent fabric are joined, to be eliminated.
