APPARATUS FOR ASSEMBLING SET OF PARTS Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: machine engineering, possibly operations for automatic assembling of shaft-sleeve type parts with use of robots.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes housing with openings and attachment arranged in housing and designed for creating turbulent flow of gases. Said attachment is in the form of sleeve with nozzles inclined relative to radius. Orienting device in the form of flanged rod is placed with gap in said sleeve. Apparatus is also provided with slide-valve mechanism whose one cavity is connected with inner surface of said sleeve and whose other cavity is communicated with atmosphere or with gap between housing of apparatus and board of assembled set. Value of gap is set according to condition for creating ejection. Mean cavity has inlet opening communicated with compressed air source partially closed by slide-valve piston balanced by means of springs. Slide valve mechanism may be in the form of thin-wall cylinder mounted in cavity of sleeve and secured to membranes and having such number of outlet openings that is equal to number of nozzles of sleeve.

EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities, enhanced reliability due to automatic change of oscillation frequency of rod depending upon period of part presence in apparatus.
