FIELD: power engineering; turbines.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device supplying sealing steam to front end seal mean pressure cylinder and simultaneously increasing uniformity of temperature field in working space of mean pressure cylinder of steam turbines operating with reheating of steam mainly for implementing single-flow circuit of mean pressure cylinder. Invention is aimed at developing device to supply sealing steam which improves simultaneously reliability of operation of end seal of cylinder and provides noticeable leveling of gradient of temperature field distribution in space of steam turbine cylinder, improves efficiency of cooling of cylinder rotor, repairability and adaptability of end seal for further modification. According to invention, extraction unit of lower temperature steam arranged after first compartment of front end seal of high pressure cylinder is connected directly by pipeline provided with throttle control with unit of steam inlet into front end seal of mean pressure cylinder which, in its turn, is furnished additionally with shaped intake chamber placed between front end seal and first working stage of mean pressure cylinder. Said throttle control provides dividing of total steam flow into two parts, ratio at least 1:3. Bigger part of flow is directed to front end seal of mean pressure cylinder and, further on through discharge holes of disk of first stage rotor of mean pressure cylinder into diaphragm seals of second stage of mean pressure cylinder, and smaller part is directed to discharge line into passage part of high pressure cylinder and/or high pressure steam heater.

EFFECT: provision of optimum conditions as to improvement of temperature level and reduction of steam leakage of turbine cylinder, reduced losses of working medium energy with resulting increased service life, improved reliability and economy of turbine as a whole.
