FIELD: equipment for crushing and grinding of dry food products, cereal crops and other dry materials.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has casing, rotor mounted inside casing and provided with crushing members, charging and discharge devices. Crushing members are made in the form of cross-shaped beaters fixed on rotor shaft and defining in conjunction with casing active crushing zones including three portions. First portion of active crushing zone has beater skewing angle of 20-30 deg, second portion has skewing angle making 0.4-0.6 of said angle of first portion, and third gauging portion has constant gap equal to size of ready product. Beater skewing angle of first portion is equal to or less than angle of embracing of material under process, and said angle of embracing of material is equal to or less than angle of friction of material against casing surface.

EFFECT: reduced specific power consumption and increased efficiency.
