METHOD FOR APPLYING GAS DISCHARGE PHOTOGRAPHY TO STUDY BIOLOGICAL OBJECTS Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

Abstract RU 2247531 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves setting object under tension of positive or negative polarity supplied from high-voltage pulse oscillator to high-voltage electrode carrying photomaterial manufactured as dielectric base plate covered with photoemulsion layer adjacent to biological object body area and recording gas discharge image on the photomaterial. Tension is supplied to high-voltage metal electrodes as single pulse or not more than 10 bell-shaped or U-shaped video pulses large series selected at the level of 0.1 which duration is not longer as 10 mcs. The high-voltage metal electrodes having photomaterial and located on one of selected biological object body areas branch from point of common connection to the first terminal of the high-voltage pulse oscillator. The high-voltage metal electrodes having photomaterial and located on one of the other selected biological object body areas branch from point of common connection to the second terminal of the high-voltage pulse oscillator. Biological object body areas under study are between the selected areas bearing the electrodes. The areas bear several low voltage discharge electrodes usable for recording biopotentials invoked with gas discharge. Not less than 50 mcm thick photomaterial base plate is manufactured from uniform isotropic dielectric material.

EFFECT: wide range of functional applications; high accuracy of data analysis; avoided pain feeling related to gas discharges.
