FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device is made of round nut with spline and tool for tightening the nut. The spline of the nut is made of diametrically opposite recesses whose working edges oriented at an angle to each other. The tightening tool is made of wrench with working face head provided with projections parallel to its axis and forming working span for co-operation with corresponding nut recesses. The sides of the projections form an angle. The outer diameter of the housing of the wrench head at least does not exceed that of the nut.

EFFECT: enhanced convenience of operation and reliability.
