FIELD: car operation and maintenance, garages for car parking and storage facilities for storing cars and palletized loads in individual boxes.
SUBSTANCE: car parking comprises frame with two racks composed of storage boxes, lifting means with load lifting platform installed in space between racks, trays for cars provided with rollers, rail guiding means for rollers disposed in storage boxes and on platform, fixing mechanism for securing trays on platform during lifting means displacement and trays movement in storage box and in reverse direction. Fixing mechanism includes trailing engagement members made as hooks with gripping portions directed downwards and double chain conveyer provided with electric drive. Each chain of above conveyer is provided with means gripping trailing engagement members made as two parallel links installed on conveyer chains and pivotally connected one to another. Links extend beyond conveyer chain contours and are provided with members clamping hooks of tray engagement members. Rail guiding means are installed at angle of sliding towards space between racks and have sliding limiters. Trailing engagement members of trays are made as double-arm swings with hinge installed near end of short arm. Swings are formed of two dissymmetrical halves having L-shaped hooks on opposite ends thereof. Halves are connected one to another at long arm end performing engagement action during transportation. Members clamping hooks of engagement members are installed on chain conveyer and formed of two units having equal lengths and extending beyond chain contours. Above units are pivotally secured to ends of part composed of two chain links and connected by movable roller. Fixing mechanism includes identical outer projections installed on each conveyer chain link. Trays have two perforated tracks installed in one level with upper horizontal part of chain conveyer. Tracks comprise depressions corresponding to extensions of conveyer chain links.
EFFECT: simplified kinematics and improved mobility along with reduced power inputs, increased reliability of tray fixing mechanism.
