MULTIPLE-STAGE MECHANIZED PARKING Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to storage and quick putting out of cars under town conditions. Proposed multi-stage mechanized parking has detachable frame-work consisting of several stages cells. Rows of racks form corridor in each stage with opposite cells serviced by one lift. Load-bearing members of framework form lift well provided with load platform on which truck with rolls is installed which move along guides located on load platform and along corridor on each stage. Parking is provided with mechanisms for fixing load platform relative to stage level and truck relative to storage cells. These mechanisms are made both in form of electromagnetic spring-loaded telescopic locks engaging with holes located in vertical load-bearing members of framework and in front posts of storage cells. Locks are connected with shock absorbers for damping inertia of movement. Parking is furnished also with mechanism for horizontal displacement of vehicle from truck into storage cell and back. This mechanism is made in form of two interacting belt conveyor, active reversing one installed on truck and passive one installed in each storage cell. EFFECT: simplified mechanism providing transportation of vehicle from load platform into storage cell and back, increased number of parking places serviced by one lift. 10 cl, 3 dwg
