FIELD: electrical engineering; manual arc welding equipment.
SUBSTANCE: transformer of first design alternate has shunt assembled of wedge-shaped components made in the form of rectangular trapeziums in longitudinal section and disposed between primary and secondary windings in magnetic core window. At least two alignment members are introduced in shunt and installed between wedge-shaped components. Shunt displacement facility is made of guide, lead nut-and-screw assembly, intermediate link, links, and rods. Lead nut-and-screw assembly is mounted in guide and joined through its nut with intermediate link; the latter is hinged to one end of each link whose other ends are hinged to rods installed along longitudinal axis of each alignment member. Guide end carries cross-piece that has elongated slots. Wedge-shaped components are provided with pins each mounted in respective elongated slot of cross-piece. Transformer of second design alternative is distinguished from first one in that its links are hinged to wedge-shaped components and cross-piece is kinematically coupled with alignment member.
EFFECT: improved design of shunt unit suited to different sizes of core windows; enhanced performance characteristics of transformer.
