FIELD: transport engineering; reversible aerial tramways.
SUBSTANCE: proposed aerial tramway contains carrying cables supported by shoes hinge-secured on line supports, cars with traction cable and car movement stabilizers arranged on line supports. Each car movement stabilizer is made in form of electric generator, load resistor with movable contact, two levers arranged in horizontal plane and one main and two auxiliary guides with fitted-on sliders and connected into star . Main guide is arranged square to direction of car movement, and slider on said guide is mechanically connected with movable contact of load resistor and with two levers, each being connected with corresponding slider on auxiliary guide and furnished with roller on free end made for contact with guide installed on cars. Electric generator is mechanically coupled with shoe through step-up gear, and load resistor is placed in circuit of electric generator.
EFFECT: improved reliability of aerial tramway.
