FIELD: road building; tramways. SUBSTANCE: proposed aerial tramway has drive, tensioning devices and carrying wire rope laid in between which rests on shoe of line support, and cars installed on carrying wire rope. Split shoe consists of fixed and movable parts hinge-connected to each other. Drive is of hydraulic type. Adjustable hydraulic motor is connected with hydraulic cylinders by means of adjustable restrictor. Housing of hydraulic cylinders are hinge-connected with line support, and rods of cylinders are connected with movable part of shoe. With drive switched on, hauling pulley is set into rotation, thus driving the car moved by hauling wire rope along carrying wire rope. Pressure is built in hydraulic cylinders proportional to weight of car, and force pressing movable part of shoe to carrying wire rope is formed. EFFECT: improved reliability of aerial tramway by adjusting resistance to displacement of carrying wire rope relative to shoe. 2 dwg
