FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed freight car running bogie contains frame consisting of two longitudinal and one cross carrying beams, and pivot bearing unit. Frame rests on wheelsets and axle boxes through spring box suspension with rubber-metal resilient members installed at both sides of axle box. Ends of longitudinal beams of frame are interconnected by tie-rods and are provided with box brackets arranged at both sides of axle boxes and containing two-layer rubber-metal resilient members of different rigidity engaging with axle box housing through vertical guides. Each guide is furnished with antifriction cover plate and vertical guide projection found inside vertical slot of housing of rubber-metal member. Side bearers are installed on frame cross beam. Side bearers are made in form of spring-loaded box members enclosing housing with resilient members. Pivot bearing unit with spherical bearing is arranged in middle part of cross beam. Spherical bearing accommodates spherical insert with antifriction fabric on working surface. Insert engages with spherical surface of adapter secured between car pivot bearing unit and bogie bearing by means of pivot.
EFFECT: improved damping characteristics of suspension.
