SUBSTANCE: proposed relay that can be used as protective gear responding to difference in generator and supply mains phases has five threshold units, adder, two AND gates, reversing counter, two final elements, clock generator, pulse frequency divider, short-pulse shaper, two memory registers, nonrecursive filter, and subtraction unit; input of fourth threshold unit functions as supply mains input, that of fifth threshold unit , as generator input, and input of monostable multivibrator, as trigger input of phase-difference relay.

EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities.
