FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed adjustable mixer designed for changing by-pass ratio of by-pass turbojet engine has behind-the-turbine cone, cylindrical shell, set of valves with alternating chutes. Valves consist of ports arranged on shell and are provided with adjustable front and rear lips, and chutes are made turnable, being provided with bottom and side walls hinge-connected to bottom of chutes. With lips in front part of ports lifted, bottom of chutes has at least one common point with behind-the-turbine cone, and with lips in front part of ports lowered, side walls of chutes are arranged tangentially to shell, and they have, together with bottom, one common point with shell.
EFFECT: simplified design of adjustable mixer, reduced mass of mixer and increased degree of screening of noise from turbine and other inner noise sources of gas generator.
