FIELD: mechanical engineering; gas-turbine engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed noise suppressor of gas-turbine engine is installed behind the turbine in engine passage and it contains shell, behind-the-turbine cone, pylons and drive mechanisms. Pylons are made in form of flat fixed blades installed radially and parallel to direction of on-coming gas flow of engine and alternating with flat turnable blades. Axes of rotation of flat turnable blades are arranged between leading and trailing edges of said blades. Ends of axes of rotation of flat turnable blades are located on shell and behind the turbine cone.
EFFECT: reduced losses of engines thrust, forces acting on drive mechanisms and mass of device.
