FIELD: UV radiation protectors.
SUBSTANCE: claimed UV degradation-resistant composition contains water-soluble red-shifted light-resistant benzotriazole UV absorbers absorbing within the range 350-400 nm such as 2-(2-hydroxy-3-α-cumyl-5-t-octylphenyl)-2H-benzotriazole and 2-(2-hydroxy-3-α-cumyl-5-t-butylphenyl)-2H-benzotriazole combined with benzotriazoles shifted to red spectrum region. Invention also discloses asymmetric benzotriazoles, which are particularly soluble and suitable for wide application. UV absorbers according to invention also show high solubility in adhesive media. Laminated products made therefrom include isolation-control films, UV-absorbing glasses and class coatings, windscreens, reflecting protective coatings, sign-boards and the like.
EFFECT: expanded possibilities in UV protection area.
