FIELD: illuminating devices.
SUBSTANCE: illuminator includes diffuser secured to brackets of polymeric material. Each bracket is Г-shaped one; its one arm is in the form of platform with socket for contact pins of end part of luminescence lamp and its other arm being unit for securing bracket to supporting surface. Diffuser is made of cellular polycarbonate. Diffuser is mounted on platform, embraces it along three lateral sides and it is secured to platform by means of lid. The last is fitted onto end of diffuser, embraces its outer surface and it is fixed on platform. Each unit for securing bracket to supporting surface is in the form of two sites coupled with platform, having through openings for mounting members and mutually joined by means of bridge carrying Г-shaped elastically deformed protrusion. End portion of said protrusion in the form of stop is turned to side of supporting surface and extends outside plane of site surface turned to side of supporting surface. Said sites have Г - shaped elastically deformed protrusions directed opposite relative to protrusion of bridge and they also have dowel type protrusions in zone of openings at side of adjoining to supporting surface.
EFFECT: enhanced operational qualities due to reliable securing of illuminator to supporting surface.
