FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises sampling the dust sediment, determining the concentration of incombustible particles, and comparing the concentration with the norm one of stone dusting for the working tested. The sample is set in a pressure-tight vessel and is affected by citric acid which, reacting with the rock component of the sample, releases carbon dioxide being treated with ethanol. The concentration of the incombustible particles can be judged by the amount of the carbon dioxide released.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of determining.
