FIELD: electrical engineering; fastening of wiring elements such as switches, sockets, and the like.
SUBSTANCE: proposed wiring box designed for reliable fixation on thin-walled panel using its fastening mechanism involves its fastening process including preliminary, final, and additional fixation by means of building foam and cutters. Wiring box has shroud in the form of cylindrical sleeve provided with diametrically disposed I-section holes to receive spring-loaded fastening members used for securing wiring box on thin-walled panel; these holes are provided in addition with incisions forming spring-loaded wiring-box fastening lever; pre-fixation lever is made of wiring box shroud material and latching member is three-dimensional structure. Latches inserted in wiring box have ribbed surfaces for supporting lugs of standard fastening mechanism of wiring assembly; during installation lugs of standard fastening mechanism of wiring assembly protrude beyond wiring box surface.
EFFECT: simplified design of wiring box; enlarged functional capabilities of latch.
