FIELD: mining; pulp and paper industry and other industries; methods of aeration of liquids.
SUBSTANCE: the invention covers the methods of aeration of liquids and may be used for aeration of a pulp before a flotation, in particular, at preparation of circulating water for a flotation concentration of minerals, at processing the ore and nonmetallic raw material, and also for a floatation purification of industrial waste waters in pulp and paper industry and other branches of engineering. The method allows to increase a degree of aeration of a pulp. The method provides for feeding of a pulp and air into an aerator located in a container. Before feeding to an aerator the pulp under hydrostatic pressure is fed to filtration. The pulp is fed into an aerator having connecting pipes for feeding of a pulp and air, an exhaust nozzle and a partition with an aperture coaxial to the connecting pipe for feeding of the pulp and to the exhaust nozzle. The connecting pipe for feeding an air is located behind the partition on the course of the pulp movement and perpendicularly to the axis of the aperture in the partition. The distance between the partition and an inlet opening of the exhaust nozzle is equal to a diameter of the exhaust nozzle, and the length of an exhaust nozzle and the diameter of the opening in the partition are in the ratio to the diameter of the exhaust nozzle as from 3:1 up to 10:1.
EFFECT: the invention ensures an increased degree of aeration of a pulp.
