FIELD: turbo-jet engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed swivel axisymmetric nozzle of turbo-jet engine has immovable body with spherical hollow tip and swivel unit. Swivel unit is mounted above spherical hollow tip for turn relative to axle located across longitudinal axis of engine. Body with spherical tip and swivel unit are provided with shields on side of their internal surfaces forming S-shaped cooling passage. Formed on spherical tip on external and internal sides are through holes forming isosceles triangle in projection on plane perpendicular to axis of rotation of nozzle and passing through its longitudinal axis; used as base of this isosceles triangle is rear end of spherical tip and its vertex is axis of rotation of swivel unit. Leading edges of swivel unit shields are inclined forming inverted isosceles triangle in projection on plane perpendicular to axis of rotation of nozzle and passing through its longitudinal axis; vertex of this triangle lies on longitudinal axis of swivel unit.
EFFECT: enhanced cooling of peripheral zones of nozzle with no increase in consumption of cooling air.
