FIELD: swivel axisymmetric nozzles for turbo-jet engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed swivel axisymmetric nozzle has fixed body with spherical tip and swivel unit which is mounted over periphery of spherical tip for turning about axis perpendicular to longitudinal axis of engine. Fixed body and swivel unit are provided with shields located on side of their internal surfaces forming S-shaped passage for cooling air. Cooling slotted passages are formed at end section of body shield and in area of its contact with swivel unit shield. Cooling passage at end section of body is directed along longitudinal axis of engine. Cooling passage in area of contact with swivel unit shield is directed along its surface.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cooling swivel unit shield.
