FIELD: testing engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises exciting forced oscillations in the article, changing the frequency of forced oscillations until resonance oscillations occur, measuring parameters, and determining the duration of service life from the correlation dependence for a given type of article. Before exciting oscillations, the article is insulated from the exciting system. During the resonance oscillations the potential difference of static electricity between the article surface and ground is measured.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of testing.
