SUBSTANCE: device comprises suspension which connects it with the ship, frame provided with soil sampling bowl, lid mounted in the pane of the bowl, spring-loaded flexible link whose one end is secured to the bowl and the other end is secured to the rope suspension, and unit for locking the bowl made of a bell-crank whose one arm is mounted for permitting to lock the bowl against rotation and the other arm is made for permitting co-operation with the rope suspension. The lid of the bowl is made of a buoy mounted on the axle for permitting rotation and overlapping the soil sampling port.
EFFECT: reduced labor consumptions for discharging the bowl.
