FIELD: magnetohydrodynamics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed inductor has magnetic core with slots and three-phase field winding in the form of disk coils that has number of pole pairs greater than or equal to three and even number of slots per pole per phase. Each phase belt at end poles of inductor is divided into coil groups, two coils per group, wherein coils are connected in parallel; coil groups within phase belt are connected in series; all coils on remaining poles are connected in series.
EFFECT: enhanced developed pressure and efficiency.
