FIELD: electrical engineering; contactless thyristor switches.

SUBSTANCE: novelty in proposed thyristor switching unit that has diode bridge 1 and two thyristors 2 and 3 connected to poles of this bridge is that gate electrode circuits are interconnected through resistors 4, 5 and that diode 7 is introduced in circuit of one of resistors which has made it possible to use one switch 6 to perform control functions.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, simplified design.
