FIELD: nondestructive tests of equipment using roentgen rays.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device has laser, reflector mounted on intersection point of laser and X-ray beams, and means for displaying distance between X-ray emitter and equipment under test. This device is characterized in that it has second reflector coupled with display means indicator and mounted past second end of laser on laser axis and perpendicular to plane formed by laser and X-ray beam axes at constant angle to laser axis for translational movement along this axis.
EFFECT: enhanced measurement accuracy and human factor.
