FIELD: non-destructive inspection.
SUBSTANCE: laser centering unit has case inside which case the TV camera equipped with laser target indicator is disposed. Axis of TV camera is parallel to longitudinal axis of X-ray radiator. Unit also has reflector made of acrylic plastic which is mounted in crossing point of axes of X-ray beam and TV camera. Unit is additionally provided with semiconductor laser array inclined to longitudinal axis of X-ray radiator. Axes of semiconductor laser arrays are parallel to each other and are placed at distance C from each other. Non-transparent shutter with hole is mounted in front of array. Shutter moves in front of radiating edges of lasers and it is equipped with. Array is provided with scale. Flat-parallel plate, having specified refractivity and thickness, is mounted in front of laser arrays in parallel to their radiating edges for turns. Rotation mechanism of plate is connected with case of radiator and it has scale. Distance from object to radiator is counted from scale of shutter to laser array, which has image of beam is found onto object at minimal distance from center of field of view of TV camera and from scale of turn of flat-parallel plate.
EFFECT: improved precision of measurement at long distances.
