FIELD: vacuum cleaners.

SUBSTANCE: ancillary cleaning tool is used for cleaning narrow spaces, it can easy switch from cleaning mode to waiting mode. Ancillary cleaning tool has case of cleaning tool located onto control handle of vacuum cleaner and made for displacement between cleaning mode when case of cleaning instrument is pulled out forward and waiting mode when case of cleaning tool is pulled in. Case of cleaning tool has pair of members that are formed due to symmetrical cutting part of case of cleaning instrument, which has shape of cylinder to form wedge-shaped grooves in longitudinal direction. Each groove is made to get narrower step-by-step from one side to the other side of case of cleaning instrument. Parts of cleaning instrument are joined together by means of hinge fingers to turn around hinge fingers for opening and closing. Ancillary cleaning tool has rotational aid for switching case of cleaning instrument between cleaning and waiting modes which aid provides closing of cleaning tool and reduction in diameter of end of case of cleaning tool during mode of cleaning due to turning around. During waiting mode the rotation aid provides opening of the case and increase in diameter. Rotation aid has crosshead and two pairs of guiding protrusions. One of protruding protrusions of any pair is disposed at rear part of element of cleaning tool on the opposite side relatively other guiding protrusion from the same pair symmetrically. Crosshead is connected with case of cleaning tool by means of two pairs of guiding protrusions and has two pairs of guiding holes to correspond to guiding protrusions and intended for directing motions of guiding protrusions. Each pair of guiding holes is disposed at an angle to surface in such a way that distance among holes widens at the direction rear part.
