FIELD: mechanical engineering, dust collecting technique for vacuum cleaner.

SUBSTANCE: dust collecting unit has suction branch pipe unit for sucking of outer air, casing incorporating detachable dust collecting unit, electric engine and suction fan for creating suction force. Casing is connected to suction branch pipe unit through hose. Handle attached to rear part of casing is adapted to be held by user. Dust collecting container of dust collecting unit is designed for separation of foreign matter from dust-laden air by rotating said flow and for collecting of separated foreign particles. Upper cover is used for protecting upper part of dust collecting container, and lower cover is used for opening its lower part. Pivot part adapted for opening and closing of lower cover connects dust collecting container to lower cover. Connection part is designed for securing of lower cover to dust collecting container. Dust collecting unit has discharge member curved inward from outer peripheral surface of dust collecting container and has connection part provided in curved inner surface.

EFFECT: increased strength and reliable protection of dust collecting unit and vacuum cleaner from outer impacts.
