FIELD: machine engineering, possibly effective preliminary and finish working of blanks by means of abrasive wheel.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of in-feed; preliminary grinding at constant feed by means of large-grain abrasive members of wheel, finish grinding at constant feed and dwelling by means of protruded in radial direction fine-grain abrasive members of wheel. Finish grinding is realized by means of fine-grain abrasive members of wheel fixed in radial direction; dwelling is realized by means of the same members elastically mounted in radial direction.
EFFECT: possibility for providing desired accuracy of dimensions, necessary micro- and macro-geometry of ground surfaces.
