FIELD: abrasive machining; applicable in roughing and finishing of part surfaces. SUBSTANCE: combined abrasive tool is made in form of grinding wheel with coarse-grained and fine-grained abrasive sections alternating in circular direction. Fine-grained sections are made of micropowders of various granularity with radius smaller than radius of coarse-grained sections. Roughing and finishing are carried out successively. During roughing, abrasive tool is rotated with grinding speed and machining is effected by coarse-grained sections. Finishing is accomplished by fine-grained sections alternately, beginning with section with larger granularity and abrasive tool is given rocking motion round its axis within length of arc of working surface of fine-grained section. EFFECT: higher quality and accuracy due to part machining for one setting. 3 cl, 2 dwg
