FIELD: forging and pressing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: the damping device has a power cylinder with a piston diving the cylinder into two spaces. Liquid is placed in one of the spaces. The device is additionally provided with an adjustable throttle valve, hydraulic accumulator, two check valves and a pressure-reducing valve interconnected by a pipe-line. Two holes are made in the cylinder space with liquid. The hydraulic accumulator is connected thoroughly a pipe-line to one of the holes through the reduction and check valves, and to the others-through the check valve and throttle valve.

EFFECT: provided adjustment of the area of the throttling ports and reduced heating of liquid in the power cylinder.
